New Year Resolutions

I'm not much for New Year resolutions.  But I wanted to this year.  Three of them: be a better pastor, stop worring about money and trade in my car and buy a hearing aid.  If I can do those it will be a miracle.  Terrible snow storm last week...like up-state NY were I grew up.  I was asked to speak at a church and called the pastor to see if he was going to open the church.  He siad, "I have been here for 20 yrs and never closed it yet". (he lives in the parsonage next to the church, and is a powerful teacher of the Word)).  I made my 12 mile trip safely and I was the only car in the parking lot!  Eleven people showed up out of about a 300 membership (I'm guessing).  We did have a wonderful service and I made it back home through the snow drifts and high winds.  Everything was closed the next day. My dog 'Will' is getting old and I want to clone him....I'm hoping that we learn how to do that quickly....I'll deal with the morality of it later...I just want my dog with me....and of course my wife too....I'm not sure in what order....he's much more obedient.  Stay in the grace of God (it's safe there!)  Bro John
