The new year is almost here; last year had it's ups and downs and out new health care law was a mess when first offered.  It seems that it may work if enough people sign up real soon.  God knows we need something to replace our current health care system.

There's a ton of things needing fixing around our home and I guess I'm not be cutting much more wood to burn in our old wood stove.  Maybe if I can start my new chain saw I'll be able to cut some this winter....it would be sad if I don't have at least 5 cords stacked by spring.

Allie has finished her Master's degree and is looking for work.  Good things will happen in time, she has done very well these years on college...learning to be frugal with her money, and driving all the way from Atlanta to here several times.  Ben her boyfriend is a gift from God with his many talents, his abilities are so many and I use them quite a lot around here.

I'm still pastoring our little church, Tabernacle Methodist out in the county where the people there are pure gold.  I enjoy preparing sermons and other pastoral duties....and playing golf whenever I have the chance.

One dog and one cat....what would a home be without the company of these pets?
